This beautiful 13 year old was given up along with her 12 year old companion, Ruby, after being in one home their entire lives. They were not well cared for. She was very frail at 50 lbs when I would guess that she should be about 60-65 lb as she is very long and lanky. Her kidney numbers were not good but her body was trying hard to respond to all the good food she was eating. She was wobbly and looked like a walking skeleton but her spirit was alive and well. She didn't gain any weight at all, even lost a pound, but her appetite was wonderful.

She was on antibiotics for a UTI and while we had great hopes for a nice recovery it was just not meant to be. Rest assured she received the best vet care possible, good, nourishing food with the right amounts of supplements and meds. And she certainly did not lack for lots of love and care. She lived in the house with me and those silly dogs of mine who readily accepted her

Her all too short time with me ended in early December.
