Here in Delaware we got hit with the massive increase about a year / year and a half ago. We're looking at 20% increases for natural gas and heating oil for 2008-2009 Winter.
"The federal Energy Information Administration makes regional predictions on how much homeowners will pay to heat their homes with heating oil or natural gas this winter.
According to the administration, the average homeowner in the Northeast can expect to pay $1,353 this winter for natural gas, 19.5 percent more than last year. The administration projects the average homeowner to pay $2,602 this winter for heating oil, a 20.9 percent jump from 2007."
