Abel begins a new life at Grey Haven
Abel came to us from a shelter. He had been picked up earlier as a stray and when his owner was located, they decided not to come get him. So Abel begins his new life with us here at Grey Haven and will soon be looking for a very special family of his own.
Abel (photo gallery) is a gentle five year old boy, laid back and happy to see everyone and seems to be enjoying the company of all the greyhounds. He appears to be small dog and cat friendly. He is VERY cookie friendly!!
Abel needs to gain about 10 to 15 lb and then should be ready to learn that the world really is a good place filled with people who will love and care for him. I can tell he has lots of love just waiting to give back to his humans.

Cyndi: I couldn't have said it any better, myself. Sometimes I think I will NEVER understand people and their lack of loving & caring. An animal, such as this, is NOT a possession, but a GIFT from God. They are to be cherished & revered...
Abel, feel secure in the knowledge that Marilyn will "work her magic" for you, just as she has done for so many that have come before you. I am confident that you will get the best of care and ALL the LOVE you can handle... Here's hoping that you find the RIGHT "couch", real soon... <;0)
