Karla has been adopted
Karla had either broken a hock or ruptured her Achilles tendon years ago when she was on the track.
She came to Grey Haven in Spring 2009. We were able to help Karla get an operation, which restored significant mobility to her injured leg.
Karla waited for what seemed to be a long, long time to find her adoptive home; that wait is over. Karla is in her adoptive home and can run around in the yard and can dig all the holes she wants. OK, maybe not the digging part ...
Congrats to Karla and her adoptive family from all the volunteers at Greyhound Adoptions of Florida.
